Dr. Aarthi Govindarajan, a native of Kovilpatti, completed her schooling in her hometown before pursuing her medical education. She earned her MBBS from Tuticorin Government Medical College and went on to specialize in radiology, obtaining her MD from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute. Furthering her expertise, she received the European Diploma in Radiology from the European Board of Radiology.
Dr. Aarthi’s career began at the Kovilpatti branch of Aarthi Scans and Labs as a Radiologist, She then went on to work in the Kilpauk and Alwarpet branches. Dr Aarthi now serves as the Chief Radiologist of Aarthi scans and labs. Her clinical interests focus on Women’s imaging and Pediatric neuroradiology. She has published papers in various reputed radiology journals. She is not only a skilled practitioner but also a dedicated educator, mentoring six DNB DMRD radiologists every year and numerous fellowship students annually.
Through her meticulous approach to clinical reporting and radiology education, Dr. Aarthi has significantly enhanced the quality of radiology reporting at Aarthi Scans and Labs. Her passion for teaching and commitment to excellence have earned her the ‘Young Achievers Award’ from Dr. MGR Medical University.
