Dr. Arunkumar Govindarajan, a native of Kovilpatti, began his medical journey with an MBBS from Tirunelveli Government Medical College. His passion for radiology led him to pursue an MD Radiology from Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute, followed by FRCR from the prestigious Royal College of Radiologists, London.
Dr. Arunkumar’s career as a radiologist commenced in the Tirunelveli branch of Aarthi scans and labs, where he honed his clinical skills for six years. With special interests in Musculoskeletal imaging and Pediatric radiology, he made significant contributions to the field, publishing numerous papers in renowned journals like the American Journal of Roentgenology and the British Medical Journal.
Transitioning from clinical practice, Dr. Arunkumar embarked on a new path focused on operations and IT development to enhance patient experiences. This led him to complete a General Management Program at Harvard Business School, graduating in 2023.
Currently, Dr. Govindarajan holds a multifaceted role at Aarthi Scans and Labs, where he oversees operations, IT development, radiology second opinions and peer review. His diverse expertise and commitment to improving patient care make him a valuable asset to the organization.
