His commitment to quality ensures that our services are both top-notch and accessible to a broad spectrum of patients. Thanks to his leadership, we are focussed,

Mr Govindarajan was born in Ayyaneri, a rural village in southern Tamil Nadu, into a family of modest means. He was the fourth child, and life’s challenges began early when his father passed away, leaving him to face the harsh realities of poverty at just ten years old. Yet, even amidst adversity, a spark of resilience and ambition burned within him.

Education became his beacon of hope. With unwavering determination, he pursued his studies, earning a place at Thyagaraja College of Engineering for his Bachelors in Engineering. His thirst for knowledge led him further, to Delhi, where he completed a post-graduation in ‘Tool design and manufacturing’. A brief stint as a postal clerk followed, but his entrepreneurial spirit yearned for more.

In the nearby town of Kovilpatti, Mr Govindarajan’s vision took shape. Armed with his engineering expertise and unwavering resolve, he founded and ran a bottle cap manufacturing company. The company flourished, a testament to his unwavering belief in himself and hard work. He then married Dr Gomathi and started a hospital in Kovilpatti called “Aarthi Hospital”, named after their first child.

His compassionate nature and business acumen led him to observe a pressing issue. Many patients from his town and surrounding 6 districts were forced to endure long and arduous journeys to distant cities like Coimbatore or Chennai to undergo essential diagnostic tests like MRI and CT scans. This delay in diagnosis often hindered timely treatment, causing unnecessary suffering.

Determined to address this healthcare disparity, Mr Govindarajan embarked on a new venture. He established a state-of-the-art diagnostic center in Tirunelveli, a centralized hub equipped with all the latest diagnostic modalities under one roof. This visionary endeavor marked the beginning of his family’s remarkable journey into the diagnostics sector.

But the path was not without its challenges.

Skeptics questioned an engineer’s foray into healthcare – He assembled a team of the finest radiologists, renowned for their expertise and providing accurate reports.

There was a dearth of radiologists in rural India – he encouraged his own children to pursue medicine and specialize in radiology, creating a family legacy of seven skilled radiologists dedicated to serving their community.

Lack qualified paramedical staff to care for patients – He took a proactive step by establishing a government-approved B.Sc Radiographer training institute. This initiative not only empowered local youth with valuable skills but also ensured a steady supply of trained professionals for his growing diagnostic centers.

Still the common man was not able to afford a Rs 8000 MRI scan – He boldly slashed the prices of MRI and CT scans by half, making them accessible to a wider population. This pioneering move, driven by his belief in the “volume game” in radiology, revolutionized the industry in India, setting a precedent for affordability and accessibility in diagnostic healthcare.

Through unwavering dedication, innovation, and attention to detail, Mr Govindarajan transformed challenges into opportunities, with an enduring legacy in the healthcare landscape of India
